Description
This necklace has many processes involved in its production. First a copper disk is prepared with liquid vitreous enamel, then some areas sgraffito is used and it is fired. Then very fine german powdered enamel is mixed with oils and is used in a crow quill pen and painted on with a brush. It is fired several more times and then the setting is copper and the enameled piece was placed in the setting and electroformed, which keeps the enamel in place. A one of a kind piece. The medallion is 2-1/4″ round with a black stainless steel multi-wire 18″ necklace with a twist clasp.
